Insurance Options

Kogo Rental Insurance Options

At Kogo Rental, you can choose between three insurance options depending on the level of protection you prefer.

Basic Insurance

Covers 80% of covered vehicle damage. The customer is responsible for the remaining 20%.

€50 refundable security deposit required

Damage resulting from prohibited use, intentional damage, driving under the influence, or violations of the rental agreement is not covered.

Full Insurance

  • Covers 100% of covered vehicle damage

  • No deductible for covered damage

  • €50 refundable security deposit required

  • The security deposit is returned after the vehicle is inspected, provided there are no applicable charges

  • Damage resulting from prohibited use, intentional damage, driving under the influence, or violations of the rental agreement is not covered.

Premium Insurance

  • Covers 100% of covered vehicle damage

  • No deductible

  • No security deposit required

  • Glass protection included

  • 24/7 online assistance

  • Car replacement/swap in case of breakdown, subject to availability

  • Damage resulting from prohibited use, intentional damage, driving under the influence, or violations of the rental agreement is not covered.

Important

Insurance covers only damage included within the selected coverage.

Any damage or costs excluded by the rental agreement remain the customer’s responsibility.
